Economic Policy Institute (EPI) released their analysis on the unemployment rate for quarter 3 and quarter 4 of 2020. EPI will report estimates only for states for which the sample size of racial and ethnic groups are large enough to create an accurate estimate leading to a variation in the number of states included for each analysis meaning different amount of states was analyzed for each group. As the pandemic proceeded, unemployment rates fell for all racial and ethnic groups, through they all took slow and differing paths to recovery.
