Economic Policy Institute (EPI) analyzed the unemployment rate for quarter 1 and quarter 2 of 2020. EPI will report estimates only for states for which the sample size of racial and ethnic groups are large enough to create an accurate estimate leading to a variation in the number of states included for each analysis meaning different amount of states was analyzed for each group. With the pandemic setting in during quarter 2 in the United States, unemployment rates reached historic levels for all groups. Check out this infographic to learn more! ⬇️
